A Message of Appreciation

As we close on a record year in 2025 and look back on our first couple of decades in operation I am struck by the strength of our team, the confidence of our clients and how far we have come since 2005. Twenty years ago, we set out to build a different investment bank, one driven by exceptional people and grounded in deep industry expertise, continually improving and fully committed to providing flawless execution and unbiased advice to our clients. We believe we are living up to those goals.

Our team has decades of experience, spanning the Internet age of the early 1990s, through the .com crash and into the undervalued EBITDA market of the early-mid 2000s, the resulting rise of software focused private equity, and now the age of artificial intelligence and its many impacts. Our team has built their careers at premier boutiques, at bulge-bracket platforms, and here at Shea & Company – while we continue to learn and improve, we are confident that we have retained the best facets of each. Shea & Company had a landmark year in 2025 beyond our 20th anniversary. Our team of 45 is growing and has never been more productive, more talented, or more engaged with our company clients and the investor community.

Reflecting on the past 20 years, I am deeply grateful to my partners, colleagues and alumni, our clients and friends-of-the firm who have made such an impact on our journey. Shea & Company has become what it is primarily because of them. With the same perspective that guided our founding, we look ahead with confidence, optimism and a commitment to excellence. Our team looks forward to the years ahead with our loyal clients and the innovators we have not yet met.
